One of the reasons for the unsurpassed ease of use of XTree is the fact, that all functions are accessed by hotkeys and all of them are shown on the screen whenever available. However, strictly speaking, it's NEARLY all hotkeys shown, because through all the years of XTree development a number of functions have been added that could not entirely be presented on the screen any longer. And there are hotkeys that are displayed only in certain XTree versions, although available on some others, too. It may be very circumstantial to search for all of them in the manual (if present...), or in the readme- or help-files (besides the fact that nowhere really all of them are mentioned). Therefore I have tried to compile most/all (|do you know further one ?) of this "Hidden hotkeys" in the following table.

And because Kim Henkel's great XTree clone ZTree is modeled so close to the XTreeGold versions, I do also mention which hotkeys are available in ZTree, too (so far...).

But note, that hidden hotkeys that solely belong to ZTree (i.e. do *not* have their XTree equivalent) are *no_longer* covered in this list !
For a detailed list of ZTree(Win) hotkeys, please to refer to the >Hotkeys-page at the >ZTreeWin Unofficial Homepage.

Not mentioned here are the most obvious key functions like Up-arrow, Down-arrow, Home, End, PageUp, PageDown, Enter, Escape, etc.
Also not mentioned (yet) are hotkeys for external modules like the 1word text editor or the autocad viewer.

Some (but not all) of the above listed hotkeys are indeed listed in the F10-invoked menus of XTreeGold, but you may agree that the real power user of XTree never will endeavour that odd pull-down menus (neither to trouble the mouse), otherwise we could use one of those fuzzy Windows file-managers as well.
