Definitely not !
I have this program running on my Linux system,
and I must say I actually hate it,
besides the fact it has to do as much with XTree as the Windows Explorer does,
for example;
on starting "The Unix Cockpit" it begins to pop up about half a dozen
windows on your desktop (%&$§!), and the only thing that might remind to
XTree may be the optional tree view window (another window more...);
the keyboard interface is similar to the Norton Commanders, i.e. uses
all the Function keys (F1 to F12) for the commands - how un-intuitive!!
I have come across this page, too, before, however,
I really don't know why they mention XTree on their webpage...
