Mathias, I just ran across mention of this program because it's homepage at http://www.unix11.com/ compares itself to XTreeGold and Norton Commander.
I'm not a unix user so I haven't downloaded it, but thought you might be interested in seeing if it might qualify for the "clones" section of your XTree Fan Page. The webpage ends with:
