CDCAT

Hello Mathias:

I've just tested CDCAT and I'm amazed !

Have you mail the authors ?
Is it a dead project ?

There are some interisting points:

* The starting speed
* The Shift+key(s) for looking to subdirs or files

(this was a very long discussion thread in our forums)

///Kim, if you see this message, you should see the way it searches for

files and subdirs (could be a good idea)///
* The ability to make catalogs for CD's (it's great the way it shows the ZIP

information)
* I tested in ZIP files containing 34,000 files and open them very fast
* It seems robust.
* The speed for logging network drives is great.
* and more...

I hope this is not a dead project. I sent them a mail,
but I think it will take long for an answer.

BTW, Do you think that Calypso is dead too ?
Maybe the war in the region caused problems for them.

Regards.

Victor Garcia
