It did ! Since the XTreeProGold 1.3 version from 1989, in fact.

Whether you have moved your XTreeGold files from the root to a
directory like C:\XTGOLD as Dan suggested, or they are there already,
you should also run the configuration program "XTG_CFG.EXE" and check
the proper setting of the "Program path" entry ! (Not necessary with
XTreeGold 3.0x, but with any prior versions). If you still have
problems running you XTreeGold, please describe what exactly is
happening !
