XtreeWin and Netware

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN (Developers ?)

I love your File Manager (ZtreeWin) and I am a proud registered user.

I would LOVE to see few feature added to ZtreeWin:

A. Viewing the NDIR attributes of the files stored on a Novell 3.1x file server, i.e. Date Created, Date Accesed, Owner, etc.)

B. Search files on the Netware file server according to their attributes (see above).

C. Comparing one directory (like C:\TEMP) agains an entire directory tree or vice versa (an entire directory tree agains a single directory, ignoring it's subdirectories)

This would be very usefull to me (and other XTREE fanatics) because C:\TEMP is used as a backup directory for multiple applications, and I need to identify files in C:\TEMP that do not exist in a given directory structure.

Also, (although seldom) users unzip an archive file that contains directory info into one single directory (merging all directories).

I need to identify (after unzipping correctly), what files went from the unzipping process in the target directory, without comparing each subdirectory against the merged one.

The algorithm would work as follow:

1. The user taps on either C (for compare) or ALT+C for directory structure compare.

2. A submenu will offer (Include source subdirectories? Yes No)

If the answer is Yes, expand the first directory.
3. Prompt for the second directory.
4. A submenu will offer (Include target directory Yes No).

If the answer is Yes, expand the second directory (target) before compare.
5. Offer the compare mode (Identical, Unique, New).

Etc., Etc.

D. I would like to see an other option added, let's call it SAME, that would identify matching files with the same date and time stamp but have different size.

E. I would also like to see an other option added, let's call it DIFFERENT, that would identify matching files with the same date and time stamp AND same file size, but have different contents (corrupted files).

AGAIN. YOU CAME UP WITH A FINE PRODUCT. JUST PUTTING MY TWO CENTS IN.

THANKS A MILLION.

NELU
