Thank for trying to give me an answer! I never had the XTreeGold version 4 so it must be a prcedent version of the XTreeLink !?
The way it worked, was to enable to update two directories, with looking automatically at the differences of name, size and date of the files, from one to the other, vice versa or in both direction at the same time. It was very safe, friendly and very fast to use. It was also possible (and this is the most important aspect to allow automatisation) to enter all the necessary options in the command line.
I still have it... it's name is: "wnapsync.exe" - Version 2.00 of the Sync Directories Applet / from: Central Point Software / size: about 10Kb / date: 3rd. february 1994. But it works only with the short-name of DOS...
I'm looking for the same possibilities, but with long-name ability.
Does it help you to see what I need ? Do you have a solution ?
Thanks again a lot for helping.
