xtree for UNIX Systems initially was written for Sun Solaris Sparc 1.0,
though it may work under other Unixes, too.
I still try to get it running on a Linux system, without success, yet,
maybe it will work with the help of an emulator like "iBCS2"...

You may like to try "ytree", a XTree clone for Unix systems,
which offers all the basic XTree features plus some Unix additions.
