Regarding the use of the ARCHIVER.BB2 file, placing the path to PKUNZIP and PKZIP into your PATH statement in AUTOEXEC.BAT also works (yes, the PATH variable still lives -- in NT you can edit it from one of the control panels or build a special purpose one [i.e., just for ZTree] through the properties panel for your shortcut to ZTree). Another thing you may want to edit in the ARCHIVER.BB2 file is the order of the entries since the earlier entries take precedence over the later ones... However, be CAREFUL, the file is a tad delicate, and you should always keep the original from Kim as a backup (and, to compare with newer versions from hime to catch the changes he makes...).

As to the use of PKZIP/PKUNZIP, I strongly recomend that you switch over to the newer command line version (PKZIPC25) available from the PKZip web site since that version handles long filenames correctly...
