Newbies, Gremlins and Long filenames...

In Response To: Gremlin files on floppy disks after using Windows Explorer (Will Hafer)

Hi Will!

Glad to see a new Ztree convert! Been reading through your messages (I've been out of town for a week) and have some comments/suggestions.

Don't ever feel like a nuisance here or in the ZtreeWin Bugs board. I plan to continually make myself a nuisance to everyone as much as I possibly can! :) Questions and enthusiasm will almost always be met by answers, spawn more questions and more enthusiasm! That's the reason for all of these discussion boards.

Oh, and a tip for long filename viewing: even in the longest view of filenames in the file window, some filenames might be too long for that view. In the newer betas, there's a new feature: Alt-I. When you hit Alt-I on a file (or directory), it will show you the long name - all of it.

If you've registered Ztree, you can get the betas. Click on the link below to see the Ztree Beta page.
