Im not sure if there ever has been a newer than 1.1 version at all,
(at least I haven't heard of it yet),
and AFAIK the source code also never has been available.

But have you tried the GNU-Freeware clone "ytree" yet?
This one is an up-to-date development and should be able to handle even multi-Gigabyte disks without any problems.

Moreover, the "ytree" source-code *IS* available and included in the archive, ready for download. Refer to the entry at the XTFP Shareware Clones section
(see link below).
