I realize that, but it does/can have the *information* about the file/s already logged, right? I was thinking you could do a check on that only - if the destination directory listing (would already have to be logged) has a filename in memory, you could warn the user beforehand. Speed, of course, would perhaps be sacrificed on other types of drives, so I was thinking it should be an "option" only. A suboption could be "Log destination directories before copying files", so that users wouldn't have to know to log WebDrive files before trying to copy files.

This all, of course, assumes you even *want* to program in the direction of a particular vendor's product. Perhaps WebDrive is the first of a whole slate of this type of product that will come out - and if Microsoft or some other biggie gets into the game and creates a "standard" for this, all your programming efforts towards WebDrive might not be such a great idea. NOT that I wouldn't want to see some features built-in anyway! ;) I'm sure your plate is full as it is.

Which brings me to another question/idea: on your website, perhaps you could list the options/enhancements you're working on, or want to work on...?

Do most of your enhancements come from other users, or from your own personal use with the product?

Good question. After my initial note to Mathias, I did notice that WebDrive supports some sort of chmod options, but it looks like it's a set feature. Once it's on, it doesn't look like there are any "variables" that can be sent to it to change them. I would suspect you'd have to get in touch with them about this, since it's a new product. They may change their methods of doing this from release to release, rendering anything you do on your side ineffective.
