Well, the Archive-"command" (i.e.link) is *only* available on the MESSAGE INDEX, and *not* when VIEWING messages (that's where you're certainly in while reading this text...), so simply click on the "Return to the Index" link at the top part of the screen and then try "Archive" again!

You can trim down the messages displayed according to your personal liking with the "Search / Personalize Display" function/link, again, found at the top of the *message index* (*not* the message VIEW) to show only messages posted within a day/two days/a week/two weeks/a month/all ("several eons"). This setting is saved in a cookie for future returns and may help to ensure a more clear appearence.

Yeah, I agree, that would be a really cool feature, however, I have absolutely no idea how to modify Darryl Burgdorf's CGI-script to provide such a function...
(while any perl-cracks reading this are appealed for thinking about realizing this challenge...)
