Thanks for your answer.

I saw the code, but looks more C than C++. Unfortunately, I don't know many people that use linux, love Xtree (and similar) and want to dedicate time to develop. Certainly, I would be glad to help testing, as this has been a very useful tool for me. May be in future I myself could help debug it in my spare time.

Out of curiosity, how was unixtree developed originally, I mean who funded it?
