Yes, that is worth considering.
I'll think about it!
Although I'm afraid this will make the Forum look rather more confusing than less...?
May someone else has an opinion about that issue?

By the way, you can still view all the purged messages by using the Archive "command" (i.e.:Link) at the bottom of the screen.
This will invoke the 'XTree Forum archive' that holds all messages that are removed from the current board in a compressed threads-only listing.

Furthermore, both for the current as also for the archive view, you can personalize the way the XTree Forum displays postings by using the "Search / Personalize Display" link at the top of the screen.
Just experiment a bit with it to see how the various options will look like.
And, provided you don't refuse the Forum's cookie to be sent, these setting will be saved permantentely (in a cookie) for all future returns!

Of course any further recommendations regarding the Forum layout and functions are kindly welcomed!
