If you simply copy the referenced so file (libX11.so.6,I think) to the appropriate folder (/usr/lib/X11R6 on my RedHat 9 sys), create the symlink to point to it, add the path to /etc/ld/so/conf and run ldconfig--It seems to works fine. At least I think so, I'm new to this file manager :)...Just grab the X11 lib from one of your "fuller featured" Linux boxen.
