XTreeGold 4.0 and Windows 98 problem

Posted By: David <>

Hi,
I was running XTreeGold for Windows v 4.0 on a Windows 98 computer without problems. Recently I had hard drive problems and put a new drive in the computer. I lost everything on the old drive. I have installed XTreeGold on the new drive but it does not load. I get a DOS box with the message "insufficient memory". There is 128 MB of RAM with 633KB of available conventional memory. Should I be using stacks=, buffers=, and/or files= commands? If so, what paramaters should be used? Everything else I reinstalled is working fine but I don't recall if I had any of the above commands in my config.sys file before the crash.

Any help will be appreciated (but I would like to continue using XTreeGold, not switch to Ztree).

Thanks.

David
