Zip files created by XTreeGold are *usually* compatible with other programs that handle standard zip files, such as Explor2000 and the recent beta versions of ZTreeWin. You could also try any of the utilities available at http:\\www.pkware.com (inventor of the zip file).

If none of these work for you directly it could be that your zip file(s) are either damaged or encrypted. Try PKZIPFIX to see if they are damaged but contain any recoverable files. If they are encrypted, then you must remember the password you used back in 1995.

Hope this helps.
