hex viewer

I need to edit the Windows NT registry. Sometimes I have to pick out a string of hexadecimal pairs by copying to clipboard. If I paste this to Notepad, the pairs then are separated by spaces, and so appear just as they do in the Ztree file viewer in hex mode on the left.

What I would like to do is to have a viewer which converts the hexadecimal data to ASCII - the opposite to what Ztree does.

Does anyone know of a good way to achieve this?
