Where is the data? On floppies?
As far as I am aware, XTree did not provide a 'back' function as such - it will only 'copy' files to a backup medium. So unless the files were archived or zipped in the prcess, you should be able to recover the files using any file-manager software.

If I'm overlooking something, it might be useful to see a directory listing from the backup disk.
