And just in case anyone is wondering why it works like this and not with
shift (as for letters) consider that at least one shift-num ("*") character
is already in use (plus ZTree uses a few internally ), besides, all
the unshifted numeric keys were already free. So, it seemed like a reasonable
break with 'tradition' ;-)
