Hm, try the XTreeGold Online Help "F1" after using 'J'FC, and it says:

begin quote:
--------------------------

JFC (Jeff's File Compare) [J, Alt+J]

File Windows

This command compares the contents of two text files and highlights the
differences side by side in split windows.

When selecting this command from the File Window, XTreeGold prompts you to
enter a path or filename to compare the current file to. By pressing ENTER
on a blank line, JFC will automatically assume comparing the current file to
its .BAK backup file created by the 1WORD text editor, or Zedit's *.??~ or
*.??_ backup files. Use the F2 point command to point to a different
directory where you wish to compare the current file to. If the file you
are comparing has a different name than the current file, you can type the
filename at the prompt. You can also enter JFC command line options at the
prompt either by themselves or preceding the entered path or filename.

JFC - Prompts for path or filename to compare the current file to.

ALT JFC - Automatically compares the current file to the most recent backup.

--------------------------
end quote.

Well, a "Hidden Hotkey" is defined as such because it is *not* listed in XTG's command menu,
however, ALT-'J'FC is, in contrast to (hold down the ALT-key and watch the bottom menu!...),
so it's a hotkey, of course, but definitely not a *hidden* one, isn't it? ;-)
