I'm afraid the same fate as with all the XTree for DOS/Windows versions;
since the sellout of XTree Company to Central Point / Symantec in 1993/94
development has been stopped and the product line discontinued
(and so it has been going the way of all flesh....).

I still use "xtree for UNIX Systems" 1.1 on my Linux systems,
and once you've got the Solaris binaries to run with an iBCS emulator,
it works great even on today's systems !

You may also like to see the new XTree Fan Page - Linux clones section
(follow link below) which features any XTree clones around
for Linux and other Unixes - all more or less completed surrogates, however,
but important contributions of the open source community !
