When highlighting on any file, hit 'V'iew, then 'H'ex, and you have
the hex dump
- is it this what you wanted ?
You even have a built-in hex-editor, just hit 'E'dit when in hex-view mode !

By the way, another interesting, though hidden, view-function is the
"packed" or "junk"-mode, 'V'iew any binary file (e.g. the XTreeGold executable)
and then hit 'J' (for 'J'unk, not shown in the menu),
and you are shown all printable characters of the binary,
with the non-printables (the "junk") suppressed!
