Hello, Mat:
The three .clp files show the following:

1) Xtgw40 - Date format:- Y/MM/DDD
2) WfWg311 - :- :Y/MM/DD
3) Windows Commander403 :- YY/MM/DD

1) As already described.

I have already re-installed Xtgw.
2) Shown through WfWg311 File Manager.

I have already re-installed WfWg.
3) Date files show correctly.

Even though new year 2000 files are shown incorrectly using Xtgw,
they are saved correctly in DOS. Using Xtgw, the only function which
does not work properly (so far determined) is the Attribute/Last Modified
field. Changing a date here can mis-date a file. I do believe once it
somehow changed a file and rendered it unrecognizable to DOS. This
apart, I can continue to use Xtgw. I shall be changing to Windows 98
in March or April when I will change the whole system. At that time
I may try Ztree.

Thanks for the interest.

- Harry
