Hm, strange (again), I tested XTreeGold for Windows 4.0 under MS-DOS 6.22/Win 3.1
and under Win98, and with both XTGW 4.0 had *no_problems_whatsoever* to display,
sort, change, etc. any Y2K-dates !?!

Maybe you could try to uninstall XTGW and install again and see if it helps.
Could you supply a screenshot of those XTGW-mis-displayed filedates?

What do other filemanager programs tell you about those filesdates?
