In Response To: Re: y2k bug in New Date, cannot set date back to 9 (Mathias Winkler)

Thanks for responding Mathias:
Things work fine with Z-Tree (now that I learned to use the -f4- Written Toggle) in the New Date Operation.

X-Tree-Gold works fine on an older Win 3.11 machine, and on my machine at work which has the same configuration as this one here at home (Pentuim II, Win 98-2E), when I use New Date...

Problem seems to be only on this machine here at home, and the only problem I have is with the New Date op. As long as I can change the date with Z-Tree that's fine with me... At first I thought it was a y2k thing that I could not change a date back into 1999, but it turns out on this machine I cannot change to "any" date (and make it "stick" after I leave X-Tree or Alt/F3 Relog... Very Strange, but I am going to live with it...

PS I don't use Win 9x Explorer if I can help it. I prefer to use the old Nortons Win 95 Navigator.. I have never changed the dates of a file in either of them. The fact that you asked, lets me assume it can be done, so as an experiment, when I get a chance I will try and change a file's date in both of them...
