y2k bug in New Date, cannot set date back to 99

I use Win 98 Second Edition.
I just found a y2k bug in X-Tree Gold. After I updated a Lotus file from 12/26/99 on 1/1/00 it now had the new date of 1/1/00.
This was all fine and dandy and since I sort by Date Decending. It did as I hoped and sorted the file by it's date to the top of the list.

However!!! when I went into New Date and changed the date back to 12/26/99, it seemed to take, but when I went to re-Log (via <F3) the Directory, or quit X-Tree Gold and re-entered X-Tree Gold the date was still 1/1/00.
What seems to be the problem is that you cannot go back to 1999 once a file has been changed to 00 if you want to re-date a file.

This same problem exists on Z-Tree, however I have already e-mailed Kim Henkle, about the problem, and I have no doubt he will have a fix for this problem possibly within days.
As for X-Tree Gold, I guess we will never get this fixed... More and more Z-Tree is becomming my replacement for X-Tree Gold. Kim has done wonders with Z-Tree...
