I find it strange that you say you loved XTree but dismiss ZTree which is almost an exact copy of the paradigm but now in a Win32 system. Just what exactly is it that you could do with XTree that you can,t with ZTree?
Whatever it is, by trying to do it in explorer mode, I believe you will REDUCE your productivity in most cases.
Perhaps you have a very old copy of ZTree?
