I still use XTREE till this day. Sure, there are some limitations, but I haven't found anything better until I stumbled onto this site. I will be looking at everyone's input to see if there is anything that comes close.

I bought Xtree Gold for Windows and another that Dvorak promoted as the best thing since Xtree and I was disappointed. There was DeskPower 5 that had some promise, but it did some other things that annoyed me to no end.

I liked Xtree because if fit on a floppy disk and was able to get quick access to anyone's hard drive when I used to do PC service. Now, I just thought about building a USB Flash Drive with Xtree on it, of course I'll need to put some kind of NTFS file driver on it?

Anyway, looking forward to exploring this site. If you have never used Xtree or clone of it, please do! Xtree was one of the most important tools that allowed me to learn about computers and the relationship between hardware and software.

Oops! Shouldn't have touched that with a screw driver while plugged in!
